Legend : 1) MG bunker with living quarters for 18 men. 2) MG nest. 3) Firing position. 4) Trench. 5) Unfinished living quarters. Commemorative stone with the text almost illegible. The concealed MG bunker firing port amd ventilation grille. Firing port facing a typical suburban road, the whole hill is basically undeveloped due to the fortifications. One side of the hole which was dug for the unfinished living quarters.

The other side, which is much deeper and has been used to dump trash. Middle portion between the two holes, and the beginning of the trench. MG nest entrance, in many places there were made of logs and planks instead. Spartan MG bunker. More trenchline, this is also much more refined than typical wood-reinforced trenchline.

Trenches snaking on top of the hill, plus some attachment points for concealment net etc. Firing position. Concrete trench with a storage cubbyhole. Trench which heads towards the entrance of the bunker itself. Close to housing.

MG nest in foreground, and some shops plus a gas station in the background. The MG nest is very well made. The observation dome of the bunker. Trench leading to the bunker itself, it meets with the rest on the far left outside of the photo. Going underground.

Inside the bunker, some strange remains of the kitchen area of the living quarters. Entrance to the living quarters, with a small alcove to the right just before the smaller doorway. The insides of the living quarters, very spartan and likely not quite finished as it's mostly just a concrete box. A well in the alcove and steps leading up to the observation dome. The hatch to the dome is closed, we didn't dare to try to open it.

The second door outside the living quarters, leading to the firing position. Firing position. Behind the gunner, some form of outlet... these are common in the Salpa-Line bunkers. The view from the firing port. Door from the inside, the firing port behind the camera.

Massive tank obstacle wall some distance away from the bunker, this kind of wall was rare. Rather regular tank obstacle rock lines. The wall is quite tall as well, and likely built manually to a good degree. More rock lines, it's unknown how effective these would have been against Soviet armour. Closer look of the wall.

Firing port hiding in the forest, lake behind the camera. Nearby housing. The wall and the rock lines close together and unobscured by vegetation. Sundown. Second attempt.

The earlier firing port from up close. One more photo, it's getting dark already. Better camera settings. The entrance to the bunker on the opposite side of the firing port, living quarters on the right and the firing position door in the back (unseen). Entrance to the living quarters, quite similar as the earlier bunker.

Likely unfinished as well. Alcove. Partially uncovered well, water supply was important. The entrance to the firing position. Steel-reinforced ceiling which is missing from the living quarter.

Looking out of the firing position, living quarters door in the background.
